The Essential
DURBAL spherical-plain bearing sliding combination steel / steel
- Outer ring: ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, phosphated, split at two points, with oil groove and drill holes,
- Joint ball: ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, phosphated
- Maintenance: maintenance required, oiled on delivery, initial lubrication by the user
- Temperature range: -40° C to +200° C
Special characteristics:
- For use with heavy shock loads, therefore is particularly suitable for the vibration range with slow, heavy movements.
- The spherical plain bearing has a large contact area in the joint ball area, which is why it is preferred for heavy loads.
- The outer ring is split in two places to accommodate the joint ball. The splited outer ring and the joint ball are held together by a snap ring in the groove around the outer ring.
