Features

DURBAL standard rod ends with pressed spherical-plain bearing, series E, male thread, according to DIN ISO 12240-4
Right hand thread: DSA_E/ES and left hand thread: DSAL_E/ES

  • Housing: forged heat-treated steel, surface galvanized, free of Cr VI
  • Outer ring: ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, phosphated, from size 15 with single split, oil groove and drill holes,
  • Joint ball: ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, phosphated
  • Maintenance: maintenance required, oiled on delivery, initial lubrication by the user.
  • Grease nipple: DIN 3405 D1/A (sizes 15 to 17), DIN 71 412 H1 (sizes 20 to 80), further grease nipple.
  • Temperature range: -40° C to +200° C

Special characteristics:

  • Suitable for use with high alternating loads;
  • Rod end housings of forged and heat-treated steel, protected against corrosion by galvanisation.
  • Rod ends are pressed as standard with DGE_E (from size 6-12) and DGE_ES (from size 15-80) radial-spherical-plain bearing.
  • Rod ends from size 15 can be greased subsequently by means of a funnel-type lubrication nipple, and from size 20 by means of a conical grease nipple.

Available as a complete linkages (system) solution or separately with threaded links and hexagonal locking nuts. For shaft diameters from 6 mm to 80 mm.
