The Essential
DURBAL standard-rod ends with pressed spherical plain bearing, series E, female thread, according to DIN ISO 12240-4
Right hand thread: DGIR_UK and left hand thread: DGIL_UK
- Housing: forged heat-treated steel, surface galvanized, free of Cr VI
- Outer ring: heat-treated steel, lined with bronze – PTFE – composite,
- Joint ball: ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished, up to size 12 hard chromium plated,
- Maintenance: maintenance free
- Temperature range: -40° C to +200° C
Special characteristics:
- Suitable for use with unilaterally acting loads;
- Rod end housings of forged and heat-treated steel, protected against corrosion by galvanisation.
- Rod ends are pressed as standard with DGE_UK radial-spherical-plain bearing.
- Sliding combination: heat-treated steel lined with bronze – PTFE – composite;
- Joint ball of ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished and, up to size 12, with hard-chrome plated running surface, giving effective protection against corrosion;
Available as a complete linkages (system) solution or separately with hexagonal locking nuts. For shaft diameters from 6 mm to 30 mm.
