DURBAL heavy-duty spherical-plain bearing, sliding combination steel / DURBAL-Glide (PTFE), series G, according to DIN ISO 12240-1

  • Outer ring: C45 steel with injected DURBAL-Glide (Polyamid-PTFE-fibreglass-Compound)
  • Joint ball: 100Cr6 ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished and hard chromium plated

Special characteristics:

  • DURBAL-Glide (race) made of polyamide-PTFE-glass fibre compound, maintenance-free, encapsulates penetrating foreign bodies. This fact and the greater overlay thickness compared to other sliding materials assure a longer durability.
  • Joint ball made of ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished and hard chromium plated, ensures a reliable corrosion protection.
  • Wider joint ball and larger outside diameter compared to GLE series, to enable higher load ratings and larger tilt angle;
  • No clearance: radial clearance 0 – 10 µm;
  • Suitable for use with impact loads and with a larger tilt angle;
  • For use with small swivelling movements and at low speeds.
  • Free from non-ferrous metals.
